El Romeral
This house, built by Joan Rullan at the beginning of the 20th century, has a ground floor and two upper floors. Access is via a staircase that leads to the terrace. The terrace has a stone balustrade with geometric motifs. The upper-floor terrace also features a stone balustrade covered by a porticoed gallery with columns supporting segmental arches. The building is finished at the top floor with another balustrade.
Did you know? At the entrance to the Port, a cement factory known as Sa Cimentera was installed at the beginning of the 20th century, supplying material for all new constructions. From Can Repic beach to the neighbourhood of l’Horta, the area was once a wetland that was drained in the 18th century; therefore, until that century, the route to the Port went through Sa Figuera.
