Due to the fact that its promoter, Miquel Mayol Castanyer, had emigrated to Puerto Rico, we find a detached building in a Regionalist style, but what stands out is the wrought-iron work of the balconies. It is noteworthy that there is not just a single central balcony, but five in total, all richly crafted with purely Modernist decoration. Another Modernist feature is the window divided by a column on the lower right part of the façade. This type of eclecticism was very typical of the period, when the main interest was adapting, in any way possible, to the new prevailing artistic trends of the time.
